How do I take part in the Cleethorpes carnival parade?
The parade is open to individuals, companies, groups or anyone interested in having a lot of fun. You can do as much as little as you want.
How much does it cost to take part?
Entry is absolutely FREE for everyone taking part in the parade. However if you wish to give your float the wow factor then it may need some financial help to realise your dreams. Financial help my come from a sponsor or from an employer.
To take part you simply need to follow the basic steps listed below:
If you are wishing to enter the parade with a float, pedestrian group or small vehicle etc, please download the entry forms, rules and regulations and return entry form to Leanor Pidgen at the address marked on the forms. We know that you may not be able to give all the information required straight away but please still submit your entry form and then follow on with the remaining details as and when you get them.
You do not have to be a group to enter the parade, you can enter alone or as a couple.
On receipt of your entry form we will acknowledge that we have received it. If you do not hear from us within a week of submitting your forms, please contact us again. The committee reserves the right to reject any entry not deemed suitable for the parade.
There will be a meeting at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall. You will need to attend this meeting as we will be distributing your parade number, collection bucket/tins and any other relevant information you will need.
